Police were called to a single-vehicle crash on North Sixth Street, near Lehman Street on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., according to a statement released by police.
Witnesses told police two men outside of a car got into an argument with the driver and passengers of the vehicle.
During the dispute, a gunshot fired into the car, according to the police release.
The driver drove off, hitting several parked vehicles before flipping over, according to police.
The driver was a 16-year-old boy who was pronounced dead at a hospital, according to the release.
The shooting was not random, police say.
Officers are looking for two suspects that are men in their late teens or early 20s.
